How long does it take to get a bespoke piece made?
The time it takes to craft a bespoke piece can vary depending on the complexity of the design and seasonal demand. To ensure we meet your expectations with precision, we encourage you to get in touch with us directly. By discussing your unique requirements, we can provide a specific timeline tailored to your bespoke piece. Please contact us, and we will guide you through the process.
How does the bespoke jewellery creation process work?
- Initial Consultation: We start with a video chat to understand your style preferences, stone choices, and budget. This helps us tailor the design specifically to your liking.
- Drafting the Design: Based on our initial consultation, we take about one week to draft the design. Please note, a design fee may apply depending on the complexity of the design.
- Second Consultation: We’ll have another video chat to finalize the design and select the main diamond or other gemstones.
- Design Confirmation and Payment: Once the design is finalized, we will provide you with a price quote. To proceed, we require a 70% deposit to secure the stones and begin production.
- CAD and Mould Creation: We spend about one week crafting the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and making the mould for your ring.
- Production: Following the CAD approval, we need an additional week to produce your bespoke piece.
- Delivery: Your finished jewellry will be securely delivered via DHL, including insurance to protect your purchase during transit.
How many design sketches would you provide after the initial consultation?
Three sketches will be provided according your requirements following the initial consultation. Once you’ve confirmed the design to move foward with, we can make tweaks or add extra elements to it to finalise the design.
How many gemstone/diamond options would you be able to provide after the initial consultation?
Typically for natural diamonds in popular cuts like round brilliant and emerald, we could easily provide 5-10 stone options for you to choose from according to your budget and requirements. Depending on the scarcity of the particular stone you are looking for, the options we’d be able to provide might be lower due to the availibity in the market.
Would the diamonds I choose come with a certificate?
Yes, all the diamonds we source for you which are above 0.5cts would come with their own original physical certificates. When choosing your stone you could chose one with either a GIA certificate or other reputable diamond certification organisations.
How do I care for and maintain my bespoke jewelry over time?
Depending on the gemstones you’ve chosen for your ring, the process might be slightly different. However our cleaning kit would be perfect for most bespoke rings with diamonds and 18k gold. The polishing cloth is great for daily care and for deeper cleaning use solution and brush provide in the kit as well! Pop over to our care page for a more detailed tutorial and run through!
Do you offer expedited services for urgent bespoke jewelry orders?
Due to the steps it requires in order for us to design the perfect piece for you, it would be difficult to shorten the time of overall process. However if you already have any particular designs in mind and are very clear with your stone requirement, we could potentially work with a shorter time frame.
What is your policy for alterations or adjustments after the piece is completed?
Alterations and adjustments can be made after the piece is completed, but there will be an extra charge due to the additional labour and possibly precious metals required. We will provide you with a price estimate based on the additional changes you would like to make.
Are there any additional charges for design consultations or revisions?
No, there are no additional charges for design consultations or revisions before the piece goes into production
