This year’s Cannes red carpet has a new dress code guideline, the outfits are back to the era of old Hollywood glamour, which means they had to be styled with more extravagant jewellery to really stand out. We’re here to break down the boldest, most elegant, and most surprising pieces amongst this year’s jewellery styling masterclass.
Salma Hayek
Salma always brings the finesse to the award show, and this year was no exception. She attended the Kering 2025 Women in Motion Awards wearing Paraiba tourmaline by Gucci. Paraiba tourmaline is one of the rarest gemstones in the world and is known for its neon-blue hue. It’s set in Gucci’s maximalist high jewellery style and gives off modern sophistication with a touch of 1970s glamour.
Mina of TWICE
K-pop royalty met Parisian chic in Boucheron’s Rosier Question Mark necklace and matching pendant earrings. The set was inspired by rose petals, in the brand’s signature romantic yet architectural style. The necklace perfectly paired with the neckline of her jewellery – a masterclass in styling!
Elsa Hosk
Supermodel Elsa Hosk showed us that classic diamond glamour can be fun again. She wore a mix of pear-shaped drop earrings and a radiant-cut pendant necklace from Chopard. She went with a combination of white and yellow diamonds, which added a fun flair.
Rupert Friend
One of the men who showed that the bling isn’t just for the girls! Rupert wore the beautiful Roseau brooch from Boucheron’s Histore de Style, Untamed Nature high jewellery collection. The piece was fitted with pavé diamonds, in the style of a reed, adding a feminine touch that we love.
Natalie Portman
At the premiere of Eddington, Natalie was turning heads in Tiffany & Co. She wore the Wave necklace from Tiffany’s 2025 Blue Book: Sea of Wonder Collection. The collection was inspired by the motion of the sea. The necklace had over 90 carats worth of diamonds and was set in yellow and white gold. She paired the necklace with oval diamond earrings, with pear-shaped diamonds around it, and a round diamond ring in an almost 3d halo setting. We think this collection paired beautifully with her dress, which is also reminiscent of the sea.
Bella Hadid
It’s no secret that at Émerah we love our emeralds, and wow, Bella showed us how it’s done. She wore Chopard earrings featuring over 118 carats of emeralds, paired with around 10 carats of diamonds set in white gold. As for the ring, a 12.15 carat heart-shaped diamond ring with another 15.01 carat emerald stone. Bella showed us how regal, fierce and just how unforgettable she is even in a minimal black gown.
